I have a .17 savage and a .17 pistol andme and my dad has both killed hogs and deer with ours.I shot a doe at about 75 yards and dropped her dead.

Theonly reason you didnt find them ground hogs because there were too many pieces.

I love my .17 fro everyhting

You shot a deer with a 17HMR??? Thats something I wouldn't be bragging about
