glad to hear you have a daughter that enjoys hunting,,,and im also sorry to hear that she has yet to get her deer,,,this is the 1st hunting season in 20 years that i have not come home to hunt the 1st week(clinton co.) of rifle season,,,but when it costs 101.00$ for a liscense,,a week off work,,,and the rest of the expenses,,,i decided to stay in Va. this year and leave what deer are left in my area to grow for another year,,,I too have a 14 yr old son who eats,,sleeps,,,and allows his school work to take back seat to hunting,,,he killed his 1st bow buck this year(small basket rack 8pt.) and has set the rest of the year allowing small bucks and does to pass waitning for the big one to come in,,well last night my buddy sat in his treestand after 11 days of no pressure and saw a huge 8 maybe 10 pt and allowed it to walk hopin that my son could get a shot at him while on school break for the x-mas holidays(good friend),,,well to make a long story short i have a few awesome areas to hunt here in northern Va. and i would love to take you and your daughter to a few of the spots to thin the deer out if you would like to come down here. we still have lots of bucks avail. and the does really need a few holes in em,,,im about 30 miles west of wash.dc and if i come home to the lock haven area it takes me about 4 hrs to get there,,,im not exactly sure what liscense will cost,,but you get 6 deer tags,,a bear tag and 4 turkey tags and you can get a 3 day liscense at a lower cost,,and i have 2 spare bedrooms and an awesomew cook in the kitchen(my fiance),,,would love to have you come down,,,i think you can shoot bucks thru 2nd week in Jan and does can be shot thru feb 8 in two of the co.s we hunt in. we do all the butcherin right here at my house so no expense there,,,if you read this shoot me an email at [email protected] and we'll work out all the details
