you dont have to spend 1500 dollars on an exelent crossbow.

Look at Phoenix and Tenpoint. Dont count out Horton but i havent been as happy with mine as others have been with their tens or excals. There are many types of tenpoints that i dont really know about but they are really good xbows for alot of $$. If you want a good xbow for some but not a ton of $$ look into the excalibur crossbow line. depending on what your going to hunt i.e. bear, moose, elk, deer, the best medium bow is the Phoenix made by excalibur crossbows. They're only like 400 somthing and they're about the sweetest thing going on our site. Many people have them and many people love them. Ask Randy or Henry about their tenpoints, they know the most about them. It's mainly me and hotburn76 on Hortons, Dan and Don and smoke on phoenix and henry and randy on tenpoints. we each have a specialty. good luck! and ask away!
