you shoot whatever deer you want to legally take.there's way too much emphasis on taking "book buck" anymore.a few years ago,i shot a button buck because it gave me the shot i wanted to take.and at 1st i felt a little guilty but then i thought to myself--"that was a great shot,it dropped within 20ft and the meat is gonna be great"--nothing to be ashamed of
