My guess is that it would not. I went to sportsmans warehouse to get an extra plug but all they had was CVA plugs. But they looked, without the example of an APEX plug, pretty much identical to the APEX. At the time I was there, I hadn't yet fired the Apex and had not examined the fire porting closely. It may be possible (if indeed they are different) for an APEX plug to fit a CVA.
