Bad year for my hunting memoirs as Uncle Sam called me to active duty back in March and he is keeping me at least till March of this year. Did I mention Uncle Sam wants to make it up to me so he may keep me here in Wash. D.C. for another undisclosed ammount of time so that I may enjoy all the town has to offer? Anyhow didn't get to do much hunting (like none) as I used my leave days to spend time with the wife and kids (very, very, happy to do so I might add). I have gotten some leads on new hunting grounds for next year. One such area produced a six point, ten point, and an impressive eleven point, all Michigan whitetailed corn fed and not another bowhunter on the farm as the family only gun hunts.
