Default RE: why use 150 grains of powder?

Come on guys, you know exactly why people use 150gr of powder. Same reason we use muzzleloaders instead of bows. Same reason we use bows instead of spears. Same reason everyone uses a high powered rifle instead of a muzzleloader during rifle season. Fact is speed and hydrostatic shock kills. Plain and simple. I mean who cares that much about powder savings. You use up more electricity writing up this stuff than one 50gr pellet. As for myself, I don't give a crap what everyone else uses. Why must everyone feel so insecure about there gear that they have to defend its use? I don't use 150gr, and I don't care. I don't care if you want to use rifles in muzzleloading season as long as there is plenty of game left for me.

Now, that I got that out of my system, here is the load I pick. The one that is the most accurate with my bullet. I really doubt that 150gr is going to be accurate with all bullets. So it gives you room to move around a little. I use 90gr with 250gr red hot bullets and 100gr with 240gr XTP. Just depends.
