I repeat I saw a big doe shot at 75 yards with a 22 hornet in the Lungs and it piled up within 50 yards. There is nothing wrong with a hornet if the right bullets (ie non frangible) are used and ranges are kept to a respectable distance. And in my state the law reads that any centerfire rifle or handgun can be used so long as it shoots a single expanding projectile.
