I didn't mean to give ya'll the impression I was a greenhorn, the first time I shot some clays was 25 years ago

. My daughter completed hunter safety last year, and don't worry we are very strict with the kids and gun handling. Have any of ya'll ever played a game that we call "bump". Me, my brother and our friends used to do it a lot. What you do is line up about 5 guys and each one has a turn to call for a skeet to shoot one shot, if he misses the next guy in line can bust the skeet and the shooter is bumped to the end of the line, here's the catch though, if the shooter doesn't miss but leaves a piece of the clay big enough the next guy in line can shoot that piece and the shooter is still bumped, 2 bumps and you're out. It's a lot of fun, I remember when all these new shotguns coming out were being made with back bored barrels, man these newer guns will absolutely powder a skeet, I haven't bought a new shotgun in a long time and I can not miss all day long with my old 870, but invariably there is always a piece of the clay big enough for me to get bumped lol!
