BuckAlley hit it on the head. Speed ain't everything. Don't get me wrong, I'd like more, but my short draw length won't allow much more. Quiet is the key-do whatever it takes to make your bow quiet, even if you have to lose a little speed. String silencers, limb savers, stabilizer/vibe dampener. My silent bow paid off with two shots on the same deer in 2 minutes without her ever knowing I was there. As slow as my bow is, I had 2 pass-throughs with mechanical heads.
