ive never fished for cat's in cold water...i fish the Mississippi River pools 16-13...any tips on how to Fish em...i usually only fish for Channel cats in the summer during the spawn...and that Gets me enuff fish till the ice hits...then its Gills and Crappies.....butlast yeari didnt trust the ice(i like a solid 6"...4"is Ok but i dont like it when there is water on topof it).. due to all the Yo-Yo'n the weather did...it would be freezin cold and windy(hate sitting in the hut)or hot with not enuff ice...and i think this year might be the same as last....so i need a substitute for ice fishing to stock the fish freezer. i Like fishing for "wally" but i dont like to chop heads on em'
