Default RE: Why was I born addicted to guns.

I am kind of unique in that Iam the reason that really got my dad interested in shooting and hunting. A neighbor boy down theroadabout 4 years older than me let me tag a long with him when he went hunting. We were always doing something in the woods. I wanted a .410 shotgun so bad when I was 9 years old that I tried to make my own. I sawed off a tent pole to just the right length, and attached it to a curved heavy stick. I then started to collect the powder fromsome firecrackers I had, but I never got to shoot it because my dad caught me just before I blew myself up.

That Christmas I got my .410, and my Dad soon followed in the gun interest. We have hunted and shot together ever since. You couldn't pay me enough for that little gun he probably paid about $50.00 for at Western Auto.

That .410 is still in service as my dedicated preseason scouting moccasin killer. It is very effective.

At the moment, I am waiting for the fiddle back maple NEF stock to come in the mail and finish it. I wan't to swap it out with my wife and daughters .243 youth stocked NEF Handi, and fine tune it to my liking. Itreally doesn't take much to make me happy when it comes to guns.

Also I have had onmy mindto geta NEF 7mm-08.......................................

Oh Well
