I'm a fan of the lever actions...I personally hunt with a 32 Win. Special
as my gun of choice. I dohave a 300 win. mag. that has been in the cabinet right next to the 30-06, but I seem to always choose the ol' 32.
It just feels right, it never let's me down and has been passed down from my grandfather (so of course a special bond there). I do feel it's just the operators preference.
