I understand that Germ is getting new 176" buck laying in the fetal position. It makes for a good spoon.
Jeff, I usually have a spot picked out the wall before deciding on a mount. It determines which way his head is positioned as well as type. The actual happening when I shot hasn't infuenced my mount setting. If I did that, they'd all have these big eyes, deer in the head light look because of the arrow that suddenly zipped through them and that just wouldn't look natural.
Now my turkeys, I mount them the way I take them or at least has a moral to the story.
