Any success bow hunting from ground blinds?
I will be bowhunting in Northern Missouri in a few weeks. I have always hunted from a API grand slam. However, earlier this year when I hunted there, I had trouble finding a good tree in the areas where there were deer signs. As a result, I was only about 10 feet off the ground, about 15 ft lower than I prefer. Which gets me to my question. Has anyone had any luck bowhunting from a ground blind? Does it take some time for the deer to get used to seeing it? Ameristep makes one that has a carbon liner to help with scent control and a replaceable shoot thru window. It sets up in about 15 seconds, and I figure it would be a little warmer than sitting up in a tree. Please let me know what ya think. Thanks in advance for any info!!!!
