RE: What made you become a bowhunter.......
I grew up with archery and bowhunting being a way of life.
My dad owned an archery shop when I was but a wee lad and I pretty much lived there when I wasn't at school. I watched him dip, fletch, and cut arrows, install peep sights, and it didn't hurt that he was a deer check-in station either.Istarted shooting a little red Bear fiberglass bow when I was 9 or 10 and it was all downhill from there. That same year I accompanied my dad on a black bear hunt in Ontario where I watched him shoot a bear at 15 yards. Then when I was 12 I videotaped him shooting a bear in the spring, and a moose in the fall. Needless to say, I just kind of fell into it from there.
