I humbily disagree. Lopes go down much easier with a well place shot than a whitetail. Both are creatures of habit and once a pattern has been found I've found that the lopes stick to that pattern and can be much more predictable.
The max distance I've ever had to take a lope was 324 paces and with my stride works out to probably somewhere around 300 yards give or take a few but have taken most between 70-150 yards.
