I need some help. I have a 30-06 and I've killed one hog with it at 30 yards. But now, I'm havin trouble with gettin the scope zeroed and getting consistent groups. I just really have no confidence with the gun, so I'm thinking about replacing it. I'd like to get a Marlin 336W in 30-30. My main target is gonna be hogs and coyotes with maybe a mule deer hunt every now and then. I live in California, and the West is reputed to have shots on the longer side. Is the gun suited for my needs? I know the bolt guns in bigger calibers are more preferred, but I'm just not comfortable trying to zero in the scope and what not. Please help me out
