BBH, Just speaking from my personal trials, I would only consider the SQ 2. Remember this is ME and you should make that determination yourself. I'm 6'2" and at about 240 this bow seems small but, I have a 30 inch draw and the Q2 is the smoothest shooting, forgiving "small" bow that I have tested. I have had a number of "bad luck" incidents with the Hoyts. My hunting partner just had one blow up and he required medicle assistance.
You gotta remember though that these are my experiences. I'm sure there are a number of hunters that have had no problems with the Hoyts and some may have had problems with Matthews.

I am fortunate enough to live 30 miles from Sparta, WI and have picked their brains a number of times. Buy the one your more comfy with, for sure!
