We have had this happen before, Insurance did pay the damages. The cows have to belong to someone. It happens all the time around here. Most livestock owners are very glad to be told about thier strays. I have had MY livestock get out and damage others property. I just take care ofit. It comes with the territory. The local sheriff should help you out.
