ORIGINAL: JESUS loves archers
dude you are are so wrong I dont know where to begin, lets start with this...there are alot of bows RIGHT NOW that do more than 336 fps with a 300 grain arrow @ 60 pounds,I can think of several bowtech`s and martin`s.Anothewr thing, arrows dont travel up???? omg I gotta get some asprin
If you can show me some data either from the manufacturer or from a reliable testing lab I will stand corrected. Short of that as far as I'm concerned 336 fps 300 grain and 60# is not realistic. With regard to arrows not traveling up. If you had read my post more carefully you would understand that I said "up" relative to line of sight.
"Unless your arrow can defy gravity it's path will be in the shape of a parabola. Your line of sight is of course a stright line. A straight line will intersect a parabola at 2 locations. Like I explained before, one on the way "up" and the other on the way "down" relative to your line of sight (los). Everything off those 2 points will be above or below your los. The amount it's above or below may not be significant to you. What you call money is simply acceptable error."
It's the same for both arrows and bullets and it's pretty common knowledge. Dude, I don't think it's aspirin you've been taking!
