RE: Nice West Texas buck
Thanks guys. We really do work hard on the place and really do cherish it. That is why we don't lease or sell hunts on it. Here are some pics of the bucks I shot off our place this year. They are the first "trophies" I have harvested on the place. We have taken spikes and such (except my brother shot a buck grossing 155 B&C three years ago). I shot one in October and one in November. The first buck, was 5.5 yrs old,scored 132 net P&Y and weighed 165 lbs. before dressing him. The second buck, I saw limping around trying to chase a doe and it turned out he had a broken leg. He was 4.5 years old but I would have normally let him go to breed more does and let him grow. He scored right at 140. Atached are some pics of them.
