The short answer is NO. The long answer is NOOOOOOOOOO!

Actually bows and guns too shoot the same at 2 and only 2 distances and even then they aren't precisely the same. At the first distance the projectile will strike precisely where it's aimed but will strike the target on an upward path. At the second distance it will srike where it's aimed on the downward path. At any other range than these 2 the weapon is not precisely sighted in so it's just a matter of what you define as close enough.
