I can make this real simple. Nobody is saying what you did was illegal. However, it is the epitomy of hipocrite of which you are a shining example. Here, I'll try and explain as slowly as possible.

First off being the great hunter that you proclaim yourself to be I will assume that you do realize that at the time of harvest a buck is either 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 years old (unless you have magical deer that are born in November). I am also going to assume that you aren't the first person in history to have a Phd in "judging deers age from 30 yards away while hanging from a tree". Which means that the 8 pointers you shoot are either 2.5 or 3.5 years old at the time of the shot. Hmmmm...this is starting to sound strikingly familiar. Now last time I checked, for a deer to be 2.5 years old it must have been passed up by YOU when it was 1.5 years old which should have been simple since you are the deer aging queen. But wait a second, if I remember correctly you said letting 1.5 year old deer go won't make trophies but yet you admit doing so on your own land.

I find it quite ironic that you crucify Alt for implementing a plan statewide that you yourself practice on you own land. Don't bother splitting the gas...you'll probably be flying solo anyway. Print out the majority of posts you have made on this thread and be sure to take them with you. Now drive to the local walmart and find the largest mirror they have in stock. Stand in front of said mirror reciting your posts to yourself over and over.
