For deer or what? I use a 12g Ithica mod 37 fetherlight pump when I go hog hunting in our thick brush but I dont hunt deer with it. My deer brush gun is a 30-30 with a sidemount scope and open sites. I like it in the brush becouse its short and I can use it in tight spaces. You never know when you may come up on a hog here.
