Take the .30-.30 and leave the birdgun in the gun rack. If it was a rifled barrel then it would be competative, but since it's not use the rifle and go with the accuracy. I've shot deer with the .30-.30 and haven't had to track one more than 50 yards. I've knocked several flat. Great little gun.
