Default RE: Remington 7400

ORIGINAL: LOUISIANA WHITETAILS

Someone is trying to sell me a Remington 7400 30-06 cal, with a scope not sure what kind it is, wood stock, and he says it looks brand new. He only wants $250 for it and brand new in synthetic they are $620 with no scope.Anyone use this gun or has heard anything from it?
Yep. The Rem 740-family of semiautos is not called "the Jam-o-matics" for no reason. But there are a few that seem to work OK, as long as their innards are kept spotlessly clean, and they are correctly lubricated.

You can't go wrong for the asking price, though, because youcan always re-sell it if it doesn't work well, for more than $250.00!!
