I'm also a "new guy". I bought my Diamond Rapture last spring and shot a lot over the summer, hitting my target most of the time. A buddy of mine suggested that I should get up in a tree to make sure I was comfortable shooting from the stand. He was right, it was a lot different than shooting from the ground. My first few shots were low, not because the bow was not sighted but because I was not comfortable in the stand. After a few sessions in the tree my shots improved a lot, without changing the sites.
