Default excocet vs. phoenix

So I have decided to buy an Excalibur, but I am having difficulty deciding between the excocet and the phoenix.

The way I see it the Phoenix is lighter, smaller (less draw lenght too), and possibly slightly more accurate, and less "noisy".

The excocet is a little heavier (which I really don't mind), longer (more draw length), and slightly more "noisy", but is 10% (or 30 fps) faster.

Difference in price is somewhat negligible ($50), is there anything I am missing? I don't think I can go wrong with either, but I am slightly a speed freak, so 30 fps to me seems significant, but on the other hand I might let my 5'3" wife hunt with it, so that would probably mean I should go with the Phoenix, any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
