Is this just a college fine or something else. It is a big deal if they make a record of it. Should you ever have to have a security clearance it could cause problems. I'd really seek legal advice. I know they have a lot of room to fudge when it comes to "THEIR" property... kind of leased to you.... but it sure does stink if you ask me. I'd demand a separate room. Explain that if you're responsible for your roomates actions you either want to pick him or be on your own. I'd demand some kind of hearing/legal advice/get me a new roomate,..... you know.. the blonde in Chemistry.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
