TreestandEd, like you I am new to this BP. But I started looking last year for a gun, which I knew I wanted a inline. I almost got the disc, but after seeing the Omega .50, I went with it. I put the shot- gun down and took the Omega out all season and loved it. I'm hooked and beleive it's my new gun for shotgun and muzzle season. Here in NY with snow, dripping from ice melt on trees, just plain nastey weather. I'll admit I was wondering it would go off, 4 deer later and the worry is gone. Today I'll try my luck for the only day I'll get for muzzle season. With the quality of BP guns out there it's hard to pick the wrong one.
