The money you're willing to spend will buy you most of the standard grade inlines, but if that $600 also includes your scope budget then that's a different story.
If I were to buy a new muzzleloader today I would probably buy either another Knight DISC (Extreme) or a Thompson/Center Omega. Since I already have a DISC (original version) I'd probably opt for the T/C since it's something different and I like the falling block concept a lot.
I don't have anything bad to say about my DISC rifle. It's a very well built quality rifle, it's very accurate, very comfortable to shoot (thumbhole stock). It's simply the best muzzleloader I've had the privilege of shooting.
