And I still believe that shot hit the top of the lungs, just didn't injure them enough to kill the animal via hemorraging or collapsing the lungs. I wouldn't have believed the scars on the lungs thing if I wouldn't have seen it.
Possible I guess. It's still amazing to me. I must note that the angle looked like the deer was above the hunter (elevated) The angle of the aarow was upward toward the spine.
I look at it this way as well. They can do surgery and take out parts of peoples lungs and they are fine, a razor tipped arrow could be similiar, if they don't get infection, bleed out or collapse the lung, why couldn't they heal.

It is amazing what they can overcome.
