How about hiring someone else to drag it out of the woods for you? Offer a couple of young dudes $20 each to get it out to your truck for you and you are home free. You might even finesse things a bit and instead offer them a case of beer, provided they are of age, to drag the deer out. Funny how a case of beer seems to be more highly valued by some than the equivalent $$$ needed to buy the case of beer.
