"I am deeply sorry you hate my country and think I suck for being born/raised herebut such is life."

Don't take it personal. We probably have more bleeding hearts in the US, than what you have in Canada. My problem is with the policies, not the people. I have hunted in 3 provinces, probably 20 different states, and 2 other countries, and I will submit that the rudest people I ran into was in New Jersey-with Canada second.

When you hunt in the western states the entire community welcomes you not just the outfitters. And it costs alot more to hunt in the west, than what it does in Canada. If you are a guide in Canada then I know you have heard all the things that I have mentioned. And probably a whole lot more. Tom.

Tom, if i would have said USA SUCKS I would expect my head handed to me on a plate. Do I take it personally? Not in the sense that what you think of my country really means a hill of beans to me but I feel I have the right to defend my nation and flag just like you have the right to defend thestars and stripes. I am sure you know not everyone in canada voted for the laws or the morons who were elected, the same can be said for the US! Majority rules in both countries and we all must live by the decision made who will govern. Since you asked yes I have ran into people who all they did was beak, though I have a feeling if the red carpet was rolled out, the finest silverware and china were used and handing them a trophy on platethey'd still beak. The overwhelming majority loved the country, the people, etc. As such manywill continue to return to visit, hunt and fish here b/c we have something to offer to those people that they feel they can't get in their home state or country. As far as the paperwork required to enter any outfitter worth his salt will direct and have the information required for the client arriving by land, sea or air so that they transition smoothly and quickly through customs. I am not 100% sure but have heard getting into the US with a firearm is next to impossible for a canadian private citzen, I have never personally tried but know guys who swap hunt guided trips and they borrow firearms vs take their own. So like said it is equally a tougher border crossing now a days for us all!

Enjoy being a proud American and I will do the same as a Canadian! Have a good one and take care
