Dan, I didn't hear about that military guy, but I might end up testifying on behalf of a guy from WW. He goes into wildlife protection Monday for his citations since it took a while to determine if they were going to be given or not. Unfortunately this guy was being perfectly ethical, and thought he was legal, but got screwed by the quarter mile. He apparantly volunteers his time with the youth in archery leagues at north pole and was in the process of becoming an IBEP instructor, but won't be able to now with this citation.

Rob, I appreciate what you said about being careful on who you hunt with, and your feelings on being responsible. Alot of military come up here thinking how great the hunting is going to be, and get overwhelmed. They end up taking chances, getting caught, and making things worse for all hunters. There are a bunch of bowhunting opportunities up here, so you might consider picking up a new bow and getting practiced up.
