RE: Quick wood stock finish improver?
This Stock Sheenlooks like it would fill in the cracks and slow the peeling. My stock was not to that point yet. I'm sure it would be easy enough to strip and try something else if it didn't work. It looks like a temporary finish -I couldn't help but wonder if it was any different than furniture polish. But don't use Stock Sheenin California - the label says it causes cancer in California! I will look on my wife's furniture polish spray . . . If it causes cancer in Michigan, you might want to use the Stock Sheen instead.
