Seems as though already people are taking advantage of the late season elk. Dad was plowing our road out this morning and spotted a cow elk shot and left in the field 100 yards off the road. Have a pretty good idea of who it was. Going to be another episode of CSI chelan. Seems more and more of this is happening in my area every year which is sad.
