RE: Primos hunting videos and shows
Again I haven't seen the video. But when I was 14 years my dad had just bought me my first rifle, a 30-30 with open sights. I shot a deer at 200 yds while it was running, everyone else in the group missed him and it was my first deer and I knew he was big. He ended up being a 28" 4X5 muley that hangs on my wall today. After I shot he dropped like a stone but I could see his legs flopping around a bit but by the way he went down and his movements after I knew he was not getting back up. I yelled and screamed like I was 5 years old and that deer still had a few more seconds of fight in him. Looking back I don't think there was anything wrong at all with it. You're entitled to your opinion but based on your post I think they didn't do anything unethical or in poor taste at all, if don't get excited when you are successful then you shouldn't be out hunting, it certainly isn't for the faint at heart. I know if I just shot a trophy class bull (which I never have) I wouldn't stop hoopin and hollerin for a week.
The real ethics lies in cleanly taking the animal, thats the ultimate respect for the game you're hunting. To spend the time to practice and practice your aim and the money for the best equipment you can afford to take it cleanly.
