We planted Alpha-Rack on a 1/2 acre hill with swamp on three sides. They hit it hard all year long, except rifle season. There are spots now that you can see them digging through the snow to get to it. We have real sandy loamy soil on the hill, but with the right amount of lime and fertilizer it has responded excellently.
