I'm set up to get my M-24 (remington's civilian obtainable version) with the new year, but it's gonna blow my spending cash hoard. I'm looking for a scope that'll give me at least up to 16x, moisture proof, and good enough quality to last quite a while til I can afford a 9-25xleupold. I'm planning to hunt it at times, but mostly long range paper punching, hopefully pattern it everywhere out to at least 600 yrds (or as far as I can past that), so I'll need a clear image.

I don't want to suggest anything I have in mind, cuz I want an unbiased response.

I'm planning on being able to spend $150 give or take $50 before taxes, what's everyone's recommendations??
