hi everyone. this is my first time on this site as you can see by me "noob" title. i am 18 years old just got my gun license and from northern alberta, canada. i was wondering what would be the best gun, scope, brand, caliber, or even package to start off wiht?

i have looked at the remington model 700, tikka t3 lite stainless (which i love), and a savage 11. i have been advised to go with .308 for i will be hunting deer, coyotes, moose, elk. also i have no clue about scopes. i have heard the scopes on combo deals are not that great. should i go in another direction???

please help me make the best decision with my money so i can purchase something that will last and be really accurate.
