I'm also in the Middle Georgia area, and this will be my first year trying to fill my freezer with ducks and geese. I know that noone likes to give up their spots, but I know that hunting is allowed at most of the WMA's around. I know people that hunt over at Rum Creek and on Lake Juliette, that's where I plan to try.
I would like to know if anyone has a good system for drawing geese into an open field or pasture. I have a friend who will let me hunt in a cow pasture near a big pond that holds a bunch of permanent resident geese. But I can't hunt there. I need to figure out how to get them to come over and check out the nearby pasture.
