If it is legal, then go for it. Too many people have the ideas that if it isn't the way "I" hunt, its wrong. Everybody looks for ways to make it easier to kill deer. You can sit in trees, use scents, food plots, drives, rifles, compound bows, camoflage, decoys and dozens of other ways to get the edge and I guarantee that somewhere there will be opposition to the method of hunting.
