Big game with firearms won't happen again until my next lifetime, and I doubt it even then.

Absolutely.
It just doesn't appeal to me.
Not that I don't get a rush any time I hunt, I get more of a rush with my bow within 30 yards. Its more of a challenge physically and mentally.
