Congratulations! Sounds like you had a great hunt and to be able to think clearly enough (especially on your first bow kill) to draw, anchor, grunt to stop it....and make a clean kill...that is something you should be very proud of and will surely lead to many more connections in the future.

Any bow kill, IMHO, is a trophy...but a 7 point as your first! Awesome! Great decision on waiting if you thought it was a marginal hit...but obviously, it was a good one. Again, congratulations, look forward to seeing the pics.
