RE: buying a new muzzleloader
cva buckhorn would be a perfect starter rifle, Its not as fast when it comes to cleaning but its great to start off with and build your skills/knowledge of blackpowder hunting and will perform great for you. I had an old cva staghorn which was a step lower than the buckhorn and it was a simple made gun and shot great. Like i said, its going to take a little longer to clean due to the action design but its a good rifle to start off with. But personally, i'd spend the $139 on the cva wolf and get an up to date break action muzzleloader thats really simple to clean.
