I own a tikka T3 Lite in 300 WSM. Elk hunting in Colorado this year and the weather was terrible. I was very glad that I had a synthetic stock and stainless steel barrel. I am getting ready to purchase a .243 for coyotes and will be purchasing the same rifle. For the money I don't think that you can go wrong. The recoil was a little much if you put more than 20 rounds through it. I put a simms pad on mine and it cut the recoil in half.
