I speak on behalf of my daughter (third year at Washington & Lee School of Law) and all other future legal practitioners who have $50,000 or more in outstanding student loans: Fight it...all the way to the Supreme Court if you have to. Money should be no object when principle and integrity are on the line.
Then pay the fine and find a new friend!
W&L huh? Thats pretty much my hometown. I went to highschool in Lexington and hang out there alot when I go visit my parents.
