I'll bet it works well when the wind is blowing.... Problem is you cannot control the speed or the on/off.
I'd consider a flag of some sort in your case. I used to use a black boat paddle for ducks and geese, always worked well.
The two mojo's I have are useful most of the time. Its good for bringing ducks your way, but they don't automatically dump in like they used to. I have the remote on the stake duck that I turn off as soon as the birds start coming our way. Then I have a cycle timer on a floater. The combo seems to work pretty well. However, when hunting tight areas, I find that they spook more birds than they bring in. Almost like the birds see them and think, CRAP! But, when in an open area, movement of any kind, including even human movement, will make ducks often fly over for a look. Ever wonder why the ducks always come when you go back behind the blind to take a leak???
